Welcome to Emmanuel Church, West Dulwich! We are delighted that you've found us and hope you'll take the opportunity to discover more about our church family and the community we serve.
At Emmanuel, we are a welcoming and caring Christian community, united by our love for Jesus Christ. We come together to worship, pray, grow in faith and support one another through life's journey.
Whether you've been attending church for years, are exploring faith for the first time, or simply looking for somewhere to belong, there is a place for you here.
More Than Just a Sunday
Our mission extends beyond the church walls. Through Emmanuel Youth & Community Centre, we are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of local people.
Our Emmanuel Food Bank provides food support, a warm welcome and a friendly space for local residents every Thursday from 11am. It is a place where people can find practical support, friendship and a sense of community.
Our Emmanuel Youth Club offers a safe, inclusive and exciting environment for young people aged 9–16. Through games, creative activities, workshops and opportunities to develop new skills, we aim to encourage confidence, friendship and personal growth. The Youth Club runs every Friday during term time, from 6pm to 8pm.
Alongside these activities, we continue to bring people together through community events, practical support and opportunities to build lasting friendships. We believe that church is not simply a building, but a family that cares for its neighbours and works together to make our community a better place.

Events Coming Up at Emmanuel
We’ve been here for generations as the place where church and community come together. Emmanuel is your church. You are always welcome here.
Food Hub
We operate a Food Hub in conjunction with Norwood and Brixton Foodbank, where you can come and find food, friendly faces and supoprt and advice. We prepare and serve healthy fresh meals to those in the local community who are struggling to put food on the table.
We also resource a drop in where individuals can meet advisers from local advice clinics and the Foodbank Team for emergency food parcels.
Parent and toddler group
Rainbows, our stay and play toddler group, runs every Monday morning from 10-12. Entry is just £3 with plenty of toys and activities for pre-schoolers and a chance to get to know other parents and carers.
